I got a request to do a painting for a friend of mine a few weeks back. It was to paint a picture of her wedding dress. I have seen these all over the place before and some of them are stunning and some not so much. Still I really like the idea of it and was excited to do it.
Safe to say A LOT has been going on the past few weeks and I have always been working on it, just not as much as I would like. I spent a decent amount of time today bringing the tone of it together, and I am happy to say it is 2/3 of the way done!
Chantal's Gown
Still needs a decent amount of work. The folds need more work, more textures and shadows in the couch and bodice, need to add the bouquet AND completely finish the background.
Am I happy with it? so far yes. I just hope Chantal will be. We will find out in a day or two when I complete it!
